How do I download a file?

You can download any file in your library in two different places.  In the "My Media" list view, you can click the download icon on the left side of the thumbnail preview image.   The download begins and the file is placed in your download folder of your computer or mobile device.   The exception is with Apple IOS tablets and iPhones - at this time LightJar files cannot be downloaded onto Apple devices, but only played in the browser.



There is also a download icon in the left-side hover menu on each file's details page:



if you're on a mobile device, just look for this icon below the preview image:



No matter which of these options you use, the file will download to your browser's download folder with the filename that you originally provided when you uploaded the file.
