Why do some files have no preview picture?

LightJar only provides thumbnail previews for the type photos and videos supported by your device's browser.  Thumbnail images are supported for many types of photos and the types of videos created by most modern smartphones and cameras.

If you upload an unsupported video or image type your files will still be stored exactly as you upload them, but they will be represented by one of our default media icons in list views and on preview pages.
